Five Months Old
Ryker is five months old and is so much fun. He is a really happy baby for the most part and I am so grateful for that. He is all smiles. When he is in a certain mood he will be ticklish everywhere, which is so much fun. I love hearing him laugh. He loves to play with his binky and when he is done he will stick it back in his mouth, upside down. It's pretty cute. He finally decided he wanted to roll over to his stomach. He thinks that is pretty cool and does it all the time now. Last week he finally slept the entire through the entire night. It was awesome! He did it a couple more times and then decided he didn't like that. So now he is waking up a bunch again. I sure wish he could talk and tell me what's up. Anyways we love him to death and are so grateful the Lord trusted us with him.
Mozzie is such a good sport
So when I saw the following pictures, this is the storyline that went inside my head:
"God, are you sure you sent me to the right family, I don't think they know what they are doing"
God: "They don't...you need to be patient with them and teach them"
"Hmm, you think your pretty funny. I'll sure try"
Anyways here are some more pictures:
I am so grateful for Kev. He is such a hard worker and dedicated to providing for Ryker and me. He has been working so hard, and all the time - whether working or studying for the CPA, and yet he made some time to get me flowers. I sure love him!

Ryker's Picture of the Day
Here's a quick update on our life in Washington.
Kev had two weeks of training and about a week ago was his first day actually on the job. It didn't go quite as well as he was hoping. He said he needed to give it some more time, but working as a sales man at Toyota Dealership in Idaho Falls was looking really good at the moment. Hopefully it gets better and hopefully it will help lead to something he really wants to do.
Ryker is doing great. He has started to laugh a lot, he starting to be able to sit up longer without assistance, when he is on his belly he scoots around, and he is starting to eat rice cereal. The first time he tried it he gave us a pretty funny face, now when we are done feeding him he tries to suck everything off his bib. He loves sucking on Apples. Kev likes to call Ryker 'Chubs', once you see the pictures, you will see the name fits haha
Mozzie, our puppy, is doing ok. She still has accidents which has been pretty frustrating. The other day she peed on our bed; I was about to kill her. But we meet lots of people because of her. Everyone just thinks she is the cutest- which she is :) I take her on walks everyday and she is finally getting a little better. At first she would just whine the entire time. I would get so sick of it that I would just stick her in the stroller. Instead of whining she now barks at EVERYONE. She loves people and just wants them to notice her and pet her. She is a great with Ryker too, she will just let him pull her hair. I've started letting her lick Ryker's hand. Ryker LOVES it! He gets so excited and will actually start laughing. It's the cutest thing.
We have had some fun "Mormon" moments. Two weeks ago Kev had to go to a work party and had a group of Coworkers asking him a bunch of Mormon questions. Kev loved it! He came home just so happy and excited haha Some of the questions were interesting. One girl thought we believed that women and men went to differnt heavens haha.
Friday I went to a pediatrician for Ryker. The doctor found out I was from Utah and said 'Oh so your Mormon!'... I was worried it was going to affect Ryker's health care. But the doctor just laughed and went on talking about BYU and how only Mormons could go there. I corrected him. Then he asked 'Oh they just have to follow the rules of no babies.' I laughed and said 'You can have babies, you just have to be married first." It's just kind of fun running into all the Mormon questions and stuff.
Anyways, life is good. We are finally getting settled and into a rhythm. Still trying to get it to feel like home, it would probably help if we hung up our pictures instead of leaning them against the wall haha. It's nice to have Don's family here (Kev's brother). We go to their house for dinner on Sundays. Kia, our niece comes over twice a week after her work. She stays with us a couple hours and eats dinner with us. It's been fun to get to know her and it's nice to have someone to talk to since it's just me, Ryker, and Mozzie for most of the day.
So everyday my sisters and mom ask for a picture of Ryker. EVERY. DAY. So I take a ton of pictures, lucky kid...
Shopping is pretty scary
"Chubs"
He loves the bathroom mirror! He gets so excited!
I wanted to stay in bed all day, Ryker didn't like that idea haha
Watching the BYU game
He has found his feet and loves them
