Seven Months Old

I need to find the 'pause time' button. I swear it keeps speeding up on me. Ryker is seven months old. He is finally starting to sleep a little better so YAH! He does really good every other night and then on the nights he doesn't do so good, he is up for an hour. But hey at least I am starting to get some good nights every once and awhile. He still spits up ALL the time - I wish I knew how to get that to stop. He loves trying to get Mozzie's toys - I know gross! He loves Mozzie and her leash. He loves sitting in our bed. He gets so excited about it. He still is working on trying to figure out how to crawl. He does get places on his stomach but it takes quite a while so I usually miss it. I'll check on him and find him somewhere else. He loves food and is always grabbing at ours. I underestimate his reach over and over again. He doesn't really enjoy peas. He loves crowds. He is always extremely happy and talky when we are at parties or the grocery store. He loves to be standing with our help. He has figured out the whole tantrum thing, where he will stiffen his body and through his head back :( He loves boo and peek-a-boo. When Kev gets him ready for bed, he will put his pj's on Ryker's face. Ryker will pull them off, Kev says boo and Ryker laughs so hard. Then Ryker will start laughing before he evens get the PJ's off his face. It's so cute. His laughter is one of my favorites things! As you will be able to see in the pictures, he is always moving, twisting, and looking for something!

6 Months Old...and life

Height: 27 1/2 inches

Weight: 19 lbs 11.5 oz

Head Circumference:17.6 inches
(all between 75 and 90 percentile - very proportional baby...all chunk!)

I know I say this every month but I seriously can not believe that Ryker is 6 months old. It has flown by! He still doesn't sleep through the night. He loves to throw things off our laps. He is getting really good at sitting up on his own. When he is on his stomach he can go in a circle pretty fast. If it wasn't for his belly he would probably be crawling by now haha he just lays there with his arms and legs in the air, shaking them, in hopes of moving. One day. He still loves to eat everything we give him. It takes him a couple bites to get used to it and then he will like it. He loves to grab our faces, well really he likes to grab anything he can reach. He spits up all the time, over everything. He also drools all the time, his shirt is soaking wet by the end of the day. But we love him!

A couple weeks ago at like 1 in the afternoon our electricity went out -  ours and everyone else's in at least 3 cities. There was a wind storm but Kev and I still don't know how we lost power. It never seemed like bad wind to us. We didn't get power back on till noon on Wednesday. It was a huge eye opener that we are not prepared for anything! Luckily the last owners left some wood we could burn. This picture was Ryker asleep by the fire. I think it is so cute.  Everyone tells us that this happens quite often,  so we need to get some stuff to be better prepared.

I thought we could finally get him to drink milk from a bottle. He did great...and then realized what it was. We are still working on that.

 I feel so guilty eating food in my own house. They both just stare at me.

Last weekend we went to a Christmas party at Kevin's boss's house.  It was alright. Ryker was a hit haha everyone LOVED him.  It's still so weird to be at a party where almost everyone is drinking.

 Saturday we went to a nativity activity at a stake center. I guess it's like one of the top 10 Attractions here during Christmas.  There was 566 nativities there from all around the world.  It was pretty neat.  And they put so much effort into it.  It was amazing.
