Ava's Blessing

Ava was blessed by her father July 2nd, 2017

Our dear Heavenly Father by the power and authority of the Holy Melchizedek priesthood which we hold, and in the name of Jesus Christ, we take this infant in our arms to give her a name and a blessing. The name which has been chosen for her is Ava Mae Albaugh. Ava, at this time we proceed to give you a blessing. A blessing of health and strength; that throughout your life you might be able to do the things that you enjoy, and that you also might be able to find yourself to be of service to others. Heavenly Father has sent you to Earth at this time to perform a wonderful  work and we bless you that you might be able to keep yourself worthy and able to perform His work. We also bless you with the gift of obedience that you might be able to seek out counsel and be wise to obey those things  which are told you by trustful individuals. We also bless you Ava that you might be to be an example to those around you and when times get tough that you might be able to stand up for truth and righteousness that you might be able to help others come unto their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We bless you that you might be a strength for your family. That you might be a bond to keep them together and help them come unto Christ as you come unto Christ as well. Ava, we bless you to know the love your Heavenly Father has for you at all times, that you may never doubt that He is there, that you will have a strong testimony of this Gospel and of your Savior Jesus Christ. And we leave these things with you, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

June

Here is our June:

 Cailtin and Ryan got married June 2nd. It was a beautiful place. Caitlin looked beautiful, Ryan looked handsome. I didn't trip walking down the stairs :) Our kids didn't do anything embarrassing during it...so it was great! haha

The wedding was exhausting

 Ava got to meet lots of family, the Cook grandparents, the Kay grandparents and lots of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

 The reception was pretty.

The next day we met up with the Kay side at their hotel. Ryker LOVED swimming with the kids.

 

One weekend we watched Eric's dog, Ally. We all loved having her. She is such a fun dog.

Taking Ally home. The next day I was getting Ryker ready to go outside. He was so excited and said "Ally". I told her she wasn't here anymore that she was home. He looked confused. It was pretty sad. 

He is always wanting to get in the crib.

 This is one of his favorite things to do at Grandmas.

 His first ice cream cone, I think it is safe to say he enjoyed it.

One day we had a bunch of the Albaugh cousins over for a water party. It was fun. And our tramp and swing set are still standing after them playing on it :)

We have some pretty flowers in our flower beds.

 She is starting to chunk out!

One evening we went to my mom's house to go play in the irrigation water. Ryker obviously loved it.

So Ryker got stung by a bee 3 DAYS IN A ROW!!!! The first time he got stung he starting crying and ran to the door, I saw the stinger and told him we needed to go get the tweezers. Then he stopped crying, started laughing and repeating "beee" (for buzz). After a couple minutes he went outside and grabbed his weed wacker and ran to where the bees are at, to show him what he thought haha. The third time he got stung I think the bee really got him and it took him a while to calm down so I'm hoping he finally learned his lesson. He is a tough kid! I think part of the problem is that Mozzie tries to eat them and Ryker thinks it is just so funny. Hopefully Ryker doesn't try to eat them haha

Feeding Ava is always rough with Ryker. I think he gets jealous sometimes. This time he wanted to be burped like Ava.
