Our July in Photos:
The first Saturday in July we met up with Kev's family up at Island park. Ryker LOVED playing in the water. I don't know how, it was FREEZING! He even completely fell in three times and still didn't get out. He loved playing with the oar and would sing "Row, Row, Row your boat" while swinging the oar. He also got to try to fish but they didn't catch anything. Jericka was such a help with out kids. as well.
On our way home from Island Park we stopped at the Cable Factory to hang out with my family. It was fun.
We went to my parents for dinner and on the way back Ryker was holding Ava's hand. It was pretty cute and I wasn't able to get a picture of it. But I wanted to remember what he was doing.
We got some sparklers, some colorful spinning fireworks and this whistle (extremely loud) firework. Ryker loved the whistle one for some reason. I LOVE his excited face!
For the 4th of July we went to the parade. Ryker was so scared of it for some reason. I had to drag him to the side of the road and then he kept trying to get away/ But then they started throwing candy and he decided it wasn't to bad :) For lunch we went to Scott and Leslie's for a BBQ. That evening we went to the Albaugh's for a BBQ. Then we went and played softball.
The 5th we went to Lava Hot springs with my family. It was hot but a lot of fun. Ryker LOVES jumping in the water. The little stinker would get out of the pool and sprint to the other pool. I had to have strangers stop him for me - he is SO DANG quick!
It was really hot for Ava but she did awesome!
One the way home Ryker was eating some snacks and then all of a sudden he was asleep, still holding on to the bag. I looked back a couple minutes later and saw food coming out of his mouth - he hadn't even finished swallowing before he fell asleep haha. That night we ate with my parents and did some more fireworks. He was getting pretty brave and getting pretty close to them and then he would suddenly get scared and sprint away. He seemed to like them :)
I love that she is having more expressions
We met up with the Albaughs at the visitor's center to watch two of the restoration videos. The kids did not last long...at all. So Sandy took them all out to have some fun. I'm so glad he has so many cousins.
Ryker, Ava and I went with my mom, dad and Maddy to Snowflake. We left on Monday and met up with Cailtin and Ryan in Provo. We ate food, saw Grandpa Cook in the hospital, went swimming and then headed to Moab. We finally got to Snowflake Tuesday afternoon. The kids did so awesome in the car and Maddy was AMAZING with Ryker. She was seriously a different person, she was such a help the entire time. Actually my whole family was a lot of help, there is no way I could do it by myself.
Ava was crying and Ryker was trying to calm her down. I LOVE that picture. Addy and Hannah were so great with Ryker, always playing with him and entertaining him.
We went to the lake twice. I was finally able to jet ski, I have missed it! Ryker wasn't a huge fan but at least he wasn't screaming the whole time haha but he was asking for Grandma one time. Then he went with my dad and he fell asleep haha. So one time I went out, had fun, came back and went to go turn it off to discover the key was no longer in it. My heart dropped. Ryan went out to go look for it. I went back and told my grandma. She was not happy. Actually left to go on a walk after I told her - that really scared me. I said a million prayers. About an hour later I went out with maddy. I passed something white, then thought about it and turned around. It was the key! It was seriously a miracle! I came back and told my grandma I found it. She asked how and I said I prayed. Her response was, "I have a couple of things I need you to pray about." haha Ryker loved the water and started to swim on his own, jump on his own, he loved the water and having his floatys.
We threw candy and Frisbees for the 24th parade. Ryker just liked eating the candy :)
Ryker and Kayden didn't really interact much...they just stole each other's toys haha
Ryker kept laughing at these bows, he thought they were so funny... I don't know why ;)
