5 Months Old!

Miss Ava is 5 months old and she is just as sweet as ever! She is such a happy and smiley baby. But she is VERY selective on when and who she laughs for. She has maybe laughed like 10 times and we have to work so hard for it! She still sleeps through the night, which is marvelous! She LOVES watching Ryker and will laugh the easiest for him. We started her on Rice cereal and she can't get enough, she grabs the spoon and the bowl. I put Ava in front of a mirror a couple weeks ago and she lit up, got all excited and stood. So she will finally stand up, yah! And she finally rolled over 2 weeks ago. Did it a bunch that day and then hasn't done it since haha but hey, we are making progress! :) Whenever I nurse her she always has to touch my face or hold my fingers. When she isn't nursing she could suck on people's fingers ALL day long! Sometimes when we smile at Ava she is all bashful and turns her head into her chest/shoulder. We just adore her!

August

Here is our August:

Spent a day at Rigby lake. It was pretty fun! 

Ava is so loved...and fought over at the Albaugh household  

 We went to Ammon days and Ryker loved the inflatables. There was one with a slide. He would go down, face plant it, and get up grinning, and do it over and over and over again. He also loved seeing the firetruck.

 This kid only likes cereal for the milk.

We have some great neighbors who are SO good with Ryker. She lifted him over the fence to "help" pick pears.

 Jaxon got home from his mission! It's so crazy! It didn't feel like it was that long, but then I think of how much has happened/changed in my life since he left, and it has been a while haha Ryker heard my mom yelling for Jaxon so then Ryker started yelling "Go Jax!" It was pretty cute. He wasn't to sure of Jaxon at first but he got over it pretty quickly.

 I can't decide which picture I like more, his sweet, innocent smile, or his HUGE smile haha

 Ryan and Caitlin are SO great with Ryker. In the top left picture Ryker is playing hide and go seek with them :)

 Aunt LuAnne took us to Reed's Dairy. Ryker was more excited about the animals then the ice cream.

I put together the excersaucer for Ava but I think Ryker uses it more than her

He is such a 'Help"

 We had a total eclipse in Idaho and it was AWESOME! I really didn't understand why so many people where traveling up here for it. Leading up to it, it started getting darker and colder. Bella started acting weird. The birds stopped making noise. It was surprising how dark and cold it actually got. Amanda and her family came up and spent it with me and it was SO great to see her and catch up!

 Kev made me a headboard to match the barn door he made me. It turned out so good! He decided he wants to make them and sell them. 

Ava is ALWAYS sucking on her fingers and it is so loud
