November

Our November:

 Tough Guy

We got these cute shoes and Ava was so excited to put them on. So I put them on and had her stand up. She kept leaning over to see her feet, but the dress was to fluffy and was covering her feet. She tried over and over again to see her new shoes haha

The evening of November 6th Rico dug under our fence and got hit by a car on 1st street. It was TERRIBLE! Kev was on a business trip so I had to deal with it all by myself. Thankfully my mom met me at the emergency vet clinic to take the kids back home. Rico was hurt so bad that we ended up having to put him down. I have never cried so hard in my life. It was the first time I had ever lost someone or something so dear to me. It was so sad having to explain to Ryker that Rico wasn't coming back. Ryker kept telling me Rico was at the Vet, or he was with dad. After awhile he just looked at me and said, "I want Rico back." It was so sad. (A month later and Ryker is reminding me almost daily that Rico is happy because he is in heaven. Ryker also prays every day that Rico will stop getting hit by a car.)
So two days later I made the mistake of looking on KSL for dogs. I found the cutest toy miniature schnauzer that was a black and white parti, and his mom was chocolate colored. He was 12 weeks old and they said he was potty trained. I thought it was meant to be. Kev was down in Utah so I had him pick him up on the way home.
The kids LOVE him! We named him Duke and he just likes to be held and cuddled.

Ava is OBSESSED with him and is ALWAYS grabbing him to hold him...he hasn't quite figured out to stay away from her yet.

Caitlin came home for a couple days before Thanksgiving, so we were able to hang out with her for a bit.
5 dogs expecting to be loved on haha We were watching my mom's dogs while they were in Utah for Thanksgiving. We stayed here and had Thanksgiving with Kev's family. We almost didn't go because our kids got a terrible cough. It was terrible, we were so sick of the coughing sound.
I took the kids to the Ammon Christmas light parade. It was very cold but the kids loved it! And they got lots of candy. Ryker heard people yelling "Merry Christmas" So he started yelling it, it was so cute!
Duke got really sick that weekend so Kev had to take him to the emergency vet. It is so sad to watch him!

 They love books!

Practicing their glares haha this is the best picture of Ava's glare, but she has perfected it this month.
 Happy Birthday Grandpa Albaugh

We love having Lilly come over

We went to "Journey through Bethlehem" at a stake center by the Temple. They had some crafts the kids did and then we walked though a couple of rooms for the nativity scene.

October

Our Month of October:

  Our cute puppies

Kennedy. I told Mallory, Kennedy NEEDS a puppy.

So, one night I lost my ring. I took it off and was trying to get some stuff off of it. I dropped it, heard one 'ping' and it was gone. I could not find it anywhere!!!! I checked the toilet, the garbage, my clothes...everything. I looked for hours. I was so sad! The next morning I looked, couldn't find it. Kev ended up coming home from work in the morning to take apart our cabinet. THANKFULLY he found it! There is like a 1/4 inch between the wood and the cabinet and it somehow jumped over it. So stupid!!!!
Getting ready for family pictures
Ava LOVES these puppies! Unfortunately she's not always the softest.
We went and watched Maddy play volleyball. Maddy's boyfriend, Spencer, was there and Ryker hung out with him for a bit.
 Making a Ghost with Lilly
Definitely her Father's daughter - loves cereal.

Maddy had Ryker help her ask Spencer to a dance. When they opened the door, Ryker was there holding the sign and yelled BOO! He thought it was pretty cool.
Finished product! I LOVE it! Kev did such a good job on the tables. Then my mom took me birthday shopping for the decorations on the shelves.
Ryker made this at preschool. He thought it was the coolest thing every! And so scary!
We went to U-pick with Mallory and Kennedy. Mark, Carter, and Zachary ended up being there too. It was a lot of fun!

Maddy, Spencer, and Brooke came over to see the puppies. But Ryker suckered them into playing with him. He just loves all the attention.

Playing tennis

Ava's 2nd ponytail. 1st one that made it into public haha. I love the hairstyles that hairstyles that happen when you take it out!!!

She always puts her legs over the side of her carseat

Pig Tails!

We had a Halloween dinner with the Cooks and then painted pumpkins.

We got this free pink pumpkin basket from TMobile. Ava did not let go of it all day.

We went to a corn maze with the Kundes (Josh, Katie, Amelia, Elizabeth, and Annalise). It was cold but fun!

This is the smile I get when I say "No" and she does it again.
Reading with Grandma Albaugh

 Preschool Halloween party (missing Jaxson)

(Upper right) Look at his concentrated face

We went to Grandma Cook's Trunk or Treat. It was freezing! They got lots of candy though! Ava didn't really get the concept. She would hold onto the candy. She would not let us put it in the bucket. Then when we got to the next person, she would try to hand her candy over in exchange for the candy they were handing out.

On Halloween we went to Keller Williams trick or treating in their building with Grandma Cook and Maddy.

Then we met up with all the Albaugh Cousins and went trick or treating around the neighborhood. They sprinted from house to house. Ryker was SO sweaty! Ava loved running around getting candy.

How Ava felt about her costume haha

and....Ava is 18 months old!
She has so much personality and sass. She is always expressing how she is feeling - lots of yelling, happy and mad/sad. Ryker makes her laugh the hardest...and cry the hardest haha She loves him. She loves playing cars, trying to scare people with dinosaurs, run around with Ryker. She loves all animals! She loves having shoes on. She doesn't say a ton of words but some of the words she can say are: 'Thank you", "shoe", "sock", "up", "water", "bottle", "stop", "mom", "dad", "grandma", "ball", "Catch", "puppies", "hi", "Bye". She blows kisses and when we ask for a hug, or a kiss, she will give us a kiss on our mouth. We love her!

Something I don't want to forget: Ryker and Ava LOVE to scream!!!! When we are driving in the car they like to yell back and forth at each other. It is so loud! And Kev and I just want to turn around and yell at them to be quite. But they are just to cute. They yell and then laugh at each other and yell and laugh. It's pretty cute.
