November

Our November:

 Tough Guy

We got these cute shoes and Ava was so excited to put them on. So I put them on and had her stand up. She kept leaning over to see her feet, but the dress was to fluffy and was covering her feet. She tried over and over again to see her new shoes haha

The evening of November 6th Rico dug under our fence and got hit by a car on 1st street. It was TERRIBLE! Kev was on a business trip so I had to deal with it all by myself. Thankfully my mom met me at the emergency vet clinic to take the kids back home. Rico was hurt so bad that we ended up having to put him down. I have never cried so hard in my life. It was the first time I had ever lost someone or something so dear to me. It was so sad having to explain to Ryker that Rico wasn't coming back. Ryker kept telling me Rico was at the Vet, or he was with dad. After awhile he just looked at me and said, "I want Rico back." It was so sad. (A month later and Ryker is reminding me almost daily that Rico is happy because he is in heaven. Ryker also prays every day that Rico will stop getting hit by a car.)
So two days later I made the mistake of looking on KSL for dogs. I found the cutest toy miniature schnauzer that was a black and white parti, and his mom was chocolate colored. He was 12 weeks old and they said he was potty trained. I thought it was meant to be. Kev was down in Utah so I had him pick him up on the way home.
The kids LOVE him! We named him Duke and he just likes to be held and cuddled.

Ava is OBSESSED with him and is ALWAYS grabbing him to hold him...he hasn't quite figured out to stay away from her yet.

Caitlin came home for a couple days before Thanksgiving, so we were able to hang out with her for a bit.
5 dogs expecting to be loved on haha We were watching my mom's dogs while they were in Utah for Thanksgiving. We stayed here and had Thanksgiving with Kev's family. We almost didn't go because our kids got a terrible cough. It was terrible, we were so sick of the coughing sound.
I took the kids to the Ammon Christmas light parade. It was very cold but the kids loved it! And they got lots of candy. Ryker heard people yelling "Merry Christmas" So he started yelling it, it was so cute!
Duke got really sick that weekend so Kev had to take him to the emergency vet. It is so sad to watch him!

 They love books!

Practicing their glares haha this is the best picture of Ava's glare, but she has perfected it this month.
 Happy Birthday Grandpa Albaugh

We love having Lilly come over

We went to "Journey through Bethlehem" at a stake center by the Temple. They had some crafts the kids did and then we walked though a couple of rooms for the nativity scene.
