Ryker is so excited about all the little things, it's a good reminder. He was so excited about the puddles he could splash through. The next day there were worms every where. He just thought it was so cool! He kept saying "These are AMAZING creatures!"

20 Weeks

We got to find out what we are having!

 We are having a BOY! For the last couple months Ryker has been telling strangers that he has a baby brother. He wanted a brother so bad. Everytime we told him that is might be a sister, he just seemed heartbroken. So I was pretty excited for Ryker that he gets a brother. Ryker was telling my mom that we were going to name the baby Ryker. So then my mom convinced him to name the baby Cheri haha

 Kev is finally done with busy season. We all survived!!!! - Barely! He took the whole week off. We decided to do a little staycation. The kids were pretty excited.

 The pool was FREEZING! Ava mostly stayed in the Hot Tub. The water didn't seem to bother Ryker, he loved jumping in, over and over again. Chelsie, Sam, and their girls came and swam with us for a bit too. All of sudden Ava started crying while she was in the Hot tub. So Kev took her back to the room. She ended up just wanting to sleep the rest of the evening, even at Denny's while we ate. After we got back to our room we watched Spider-man into the spider verse. Ryker thought it was pretty cool. Ava threw up during it :( The whole night was rough. I was in one bed with Ava who cried/moaned most of the night. Kev was in a bed with Ryker, and it sounds like Ryker liked to take up the whole bed. So Kev had to move him back over multiple times. But we made it through the night and in the morning Ryker and I went swimming again. He kept yelling "This is PERFECT!" So it was a rough staycation for Kev and I but Ryker LOVED it.

 Easter Morning - Saturday. The Easter Bunny thought Ava would sleep in, so he put her eggs in a bag and wrote a note to Ryker asking him to hide her eggs when she woke up.

 Ava seemed to be feeling better so we wen to our ward's Easter breakfast. Caitlin came with us too. After the ward party Ava started being sick again, so Kev took Ryker to the Albaugh's to do their Easter hunt.

 That evening we went to my family's house and did an Easter Egg hunt, and dyed eggs. Ava did pretty good, but by the end you could tell she still didn't feel good.

I love little kids excitement about everything though! They just loved finding those eggs.

He loves his new hats - he looks so old!

Ava's flu (or whatever she had) turned into a nasty cough. It was so sad. Kev ended up taking her to the little kids emergency type room, and she ended up having croup.

 Ryker loves his Spider Man Costume - and thinks he does the coolest tricks while wearing it!

 The medicine they gave Ava kicked in pretty quickly and we soon had our happy - still slightly coughing - girl back

 Love them!

Ryker had a preschool field trip to 'Animal Days'. He had so much fun!

Ava turned 2! She weighs, 27.4 lbs and is 35 1/2 inches tall - both in like the 95th percentile. She is so sassy and getting so much personality. She loves Ryker...and he is also like her worst enemy. But they are so cute together. 

Her cake - took quite awhile to make but it turned out pretty good!

We got Ava a twin bed for her birthday. She did awesome with the transition! She didn't even struggle and she never tries to get out of her bed. It actually took her like a month to figure out she could get out of bed in the morning without us having to come in the room first.

With Ava getting over croup we just invited the Cook's over. Ava had just woken up before we did cake so she wasn't fully awake and we could not get her to smile.

 

We couldn't imagine life without this sweet girl!
