Saying Goodbye

I absolutely hate saying goodbyes. Thursday night we spent time with Don's family for the last time in a year.  Driving off with the whole family waving goodbye on the porch was a pretty sad view. We are going to miss them. We have enjoyed the time we got with them the last two weeks. Friday we said goodbye to the Staples. They were so kind to let us stay there and let us become part of their family.

It was so unreal driving back to Idaho. It felt like just yesterday we were driving to Seattle. It is such a pretty area!

This area reminded us of the hills of Idaho falls with all the windmills.
We were able to see a beautiful sunset.

For some reason all the hotels were booked for hundreds of miles. So we weren't able to find a hotel till 3 in the morning! We were exhausted! But we finally made it to Idaho falls on Saturday. We went and spent some time with Kev's family then I took him to the airport. His company sent him to Disney World for training for a couple of days. After that I drove to my house. It is always so nice to be home and with family! We were able to do Jaxon's birthday cake. He turned 18! I can't believe it! Luckily, he still has one more year of high school. So we have one more year with him before his mission.

Later that night we went on a bike ride around the Greenbelt. I forget how pretty it is here!

Today I got to listen to Maddy give a talk in church. She did awesome! She has grown up SO much! It was fun to see people in my ward again, people I have grown up knowing; but I only know like half the ward now.

We are going to miss Seattle, but it is so nice to be close to family again.
