August

Our Month of August:
Mack's Inn with the Albaughs.

I got called to Nursery in our new ward, so Ava now gets to go to Nursery a couple months early.
Ryker loves driving his cousin's car. He's pretty dang good at it too!
Ava's first pony tail. It took forever! And then I took it out pretty soon after because it was fraying her hair. I loved her hair after I took it out haha

We had a chance to go to Bear Lake with the Cook Side. Kev came for the weekened and then had to go back to work. It was a lot of fun! And It was fun to spend so much time with the Cook Family.

Ryker's first time on the boat. He was so brave and did so good, until they kind of started sinking after hitting a bigger wave. I was able to ski, first try. It's hard work! I wish I could do it more often.

Ryker has no fear!

Ava and Crews are just 3 days apart. It was fun seeing them play together.
We hiked up to a lake. It was hard work carying Ava but it was beautiful!
I definitely was not prepared. When we left, it was overcast so I didn't think we would need swimsuits or anything  - but I should have brought them!
Ryker threw a rock in the lake and a fish came over thinking it was food. So then we started throwing pieces of granola bar into the lake. Fish just started swarming, it was pretty neat. Ryker wanted to catch one so bad!

We also went to a cave, with a lot of stairs! It was a great workout holding Ava the whole time :) When Ryker stayed with my mom in May they read ab book about a some animals in a cave. One of the names was Wormie. So he was yelling Wormie most of the time hoping to see him. My dad got Ryker excited about all the stairs. So Ryker would yell, yay more stairs! We also saw some bats, one almost hit us.

We had a lot of fun! It definitely wore us all out.
Ryker loves to help Kev and is actually pretty good at helping. The second picture cracked me up. Kev's working hard and Ryker gets his chair and plops down. Kev got a riding lawn mower...because Ryker would love riding it. (That was his flawless reasoning haha) Well Ryker does LOVE it.
Lots of Love

At the end of August, Ryker was FINALLY ready to be potty trained! It's been a little rough but I'm proud of him and so happy to only have one kid in diapers!
